July 6, 2020 – July 7, 2020
The eighteenth Academic Practice and Technology (APT2020) conference will take place on Monday 6th July 2020. This year's conference is entitled "Shaping academic practice for the new decade" If social distancing is still in force, it will be held free online.
This one-day annual conference, hosted at University College London, will explore whether the relationship between academic practice and technology needs to change for the 2020s and how digitally enhanced learning can contribute to some of the biggest challenges facing higher and further education. Through consultation, conference participants have told us that their major concerns are designing and developing inclusive practice; developing programme design that fosters a relevant and valuable student experience and equips students for a sustainable future; creative and authentic feedback and assessment; and, of growing importance, how we can step up to meet the challenges of a sustainable future.
In the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have added a new sub-theme that relates to the question - how we can step up to meet the challenges of teaching, learning and assessment in times of disruption.
